We were a bit underwhelmed with food in Sri Lankan south coast. Most restaurants in Mirissa look beautiful and have high ratings (probably fake) but they lack the depth of taste. Serendipity came as a positive surprise.

The food had a good level of spice, sour, salty and sweet. The chef came to our table to ask if the food was ok - a very kind gesture. Prices were very fair and value for money much better than the beachfront seafood restaurants on Mirissa main beach. I wish we discovered this place earlier.

Bonus points: the cleanest bathrooms we’ve seen in any restaurant here.

Me and my partner spent the day here on the beach. I happened to spot this as we came into Mirissa on our scooter, and we text and asked if we could spend the day. It was extremely relaxing, very well decorated and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. Beach was stunning - very untouched. Would highly recommend for a chill day/lunch spot!

A beautiful hotel you will thoroughly enjoy as the location is mostly quiet and less crowded. As there are only 5 rooms in operation the place never feels busy.
As the hotel has newly opened a bit more work needs to be done to bring up to standard. Loved the place so definitely my favorite go to place just off Mirissa.

Serendipity Mirissa is an absolute paradise! The sea view from the rooms is breathtaking, and the ambiance is perfect for a peaceful getaway. The international restaurant serves amazing food with fresh ingredients and incredible flavors. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure every guest feels at home. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Mirissa! Can't wait to come back.
