We enjoyed our stay here. Sadakelum Helped us lots when we were hanging around the villa and drinking/ eating in the space- there was a language barrier but he was very accomodating and he corrected any mistakes made. Thank you Serendipity and Sadakelum!

What a wonderfull Hotel and Staff! Would recommend it. Nice breakfast. Staff was always available and especially Sadakelum was very attentive.

Great place to stay in Mirissa. Such a lovely host Mr. Ruwan, very welcoming and accommodating and Sadakelum has been taking care of our food and drinks knowing exactly how we would enjoy it.. must visit if you are in Mirissa..

Spent two lovely afternoons visiting here (did not stay in rooms and did not have food) the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Lovely selection of juice / smoothies and lovely coffee. The pool is super clean and yes there are dogs here (welcome to Sri Lanka!) who were all in good health and super friendly.
Beach front and recommend a visit.

Mein Freund hat mich hier mit einem privaten Dinner am Strand zum Geburtstag überrascht und es war einfach nur magisch. Das Team vom Serendipity hat das so liebevoll umgesetzt, mit Kerzen und Blumen im Sand.
Was den Abend aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war der Service. Wir hatten einen eigenen Kellner, der unglaublich aufmerksam war, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Mein Freund hatte vorab Wein bestellt und der Kellner war wirklich extrem genau – er hat den Weinkühler ständig gecheckt und perfekt nachgeschenkt. Man hat sich richtig gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
Das Essen war absolute Spitzenklasse (besonders das Tatar und die Meeresfrüchte!). Insgesamt haben wir für das Privat-Dinner inklusive Wein ca. 95.000 LKR bezahlt. Das ist natürlich ein stolzer Preis, aber für diese Exklusivität und den perfekten Service war es für uns jeden Cent wert. Ein unvergesslicher Abend!

Ruwan and the staff at Serendipity were outstanding. We could not fault the service they provided. Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast on offer, good coffee and cocktails.

We had a room facing the road which was a little noisy but it was cleaned and maintained excellently. We spent most of our time downstairs relaxing in the different areas.

The location is great, 5 minutes out of Mirissa so you have the beach to yourself. We made friends with Madu the Tuk Tuk driver recommended by the manager and we used him for all of our stay.

We will be back!

We came for our honeymoon and had the best time. The staff were kind, fun, attentive but also professional. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean, the beach is wonderful and the seating is comfortable and varied. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and more, booing any experiences we wanted at a great price and conviene time. The food and drinks menu was excellent and we were excited to try something new each day. We are sad to leave for our next destination!!

Great place for hanging out! Super friendly staff, extremely good food! You have to try. We were here with small kids, the pool is great. Absolutely recommended.

Great location, conveniently located along the main road. That said, be prepared for a loud stay. The “city view” is blocked by the wooden panels of the exterior but it honestly didn’t bother us as we used this hotel as a place to sleep (with activities planned in the day).

It’s a no frills place and i’d emphasise on the convenience of location. The room we stayed in is clean, and the toilet is brightly lit. Ruwan & his team took care of us, and on a day where we left early for an activity, they prepared our late breakfast when we returned.

During the day, we relaxed right on the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying fantastic cocktails — the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. In the evening, we moved over to the restaurant and were truly impressed by the food. It was outstanding — beautifully presented and full of flavor.

The entire location is an absolute dream: stylish, relaxed, and designed with so much attention to detail. The service was warm, attentive, and professional — we felt welcome from the very first moment.

We’re already looking forward to coming back next year and making this one of our stops again — and hopefully we’ll even be able to stay in one of the rooms next time. Highly recommended!🌴☀️🌴

Amazing hidden gem. The perfect place to spend a whole day by the beach in a quiet space. Manager and staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!
